Michael Carter is a 20-year veteran of Wall St, and currently is Head of Technology Investment Banking for RBC Capital Markets.

From 2008 to 2012, he served as Managing Director and Global Head of Enterprise Technology Investment Banking for Barclays Capital. Prior to Barclays, he served 16 years with Lehman Brothers where he gained recognition for his extensive global experience in cross border M&A, emanating in the US, UK and China. Before Investment Banking, he worked for Hughes Aircraft and served as Political Deputy for Councilwoman Rita Walters of Los Angeles.

Michael is a 1990 Coro Fellows Scholar and holds an MBA from Harvard and a BA from Washington University in St. Louis.

Michael is a Trustee of Montclair State University, a member of the Spelman College Investment Committee, Washington University of St. Louis, Arts & Sciences Council, NAF STEM Committee, and advisor to the Excelsior Growth Fund.
