Elinor L. Hoover is Vice Chairman of Capital Markets Origination and Global Co-Head of the Financial Strategy & Solutions Group. She serves on the Management Committee of Citi’s Corporate and Investment Bank and co-heads the division’s Diversity Committee.

Elinor began her career in Finance in 1989 at CS First Boston in the Investment Banking Division and then joined The Blackstone Group where she specialized in cross-border mergers and acquisitions. She joined Morgan Stanley in 1994 and ran the corporate derivatives and fixed income capital markets businesses. She joined Citigroup in 2011.

Elinor graduated from Yale with honors and received her MBA from the Harvard Business School. Elinor also studied piano, graduating from The Juilliard School of Music, Pre-College Division.

Elinor serves as Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of The Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center and is actively involved with The Dalton School. She currently resides in New York with her husband and son.
