What is your occupation and how did you come to work in this field?
My current role is Head of Human Resource at an Asset management company, which encompasses all levels human capital management. I have worked in the HR field within the Asset Management industry for over two decades.
What is the biggest challenge of your work?
As an HR professional, I strive to turn challenges into opportunities and I believe that HR should be the right vehicle to accomplish that. Some challenges facing HR today include changing workforce demographics as well as global economic forces.
What is your proudest achievement?
It is hard to pinpoint one overarching achievement since my personal and professional lives have been so rich. I love what I do, and I am so proud that my passion and enthusiasm have set a good example for my son, a soon-to-be college graduate. My continuing interest and ongoing engagement have shown him that a career does not have to be “work” but rather something to enjoy!
What leaders, thinkers or doers do you admire most?
There are many leaders whom I admire, but the best leaders are those who lead with passion and authenticity. They are those who have stayed the course and who have rose to the many challenges they have faced along the way.
Where do you see yourself in ten years?
There have been many people who have touched my life and made a positive impact on me. I would like the continued opportunity to make an impact in my community in a very meaningful way.

Never stop learning, never stop giving, never stop trying to make a difference
