Jaime Angarita

 Jaime A. Angarita is the Chief Operating Officer of the Child Center of NY, a child-focused not-for-profit with over seventy locations, more than 1,000 employees, and a yearly budget of approximately fifty million that aims to fight the poverty, educational, and health challenges of underserved communities since 1953. Jaime began his career as a forensic accountant and restructuring advisor at global accounting firms, where he led investigative teams in uncovering financial crimes and the operational turnaround of corporations in distressed financial situations. As a Certified Public Accountant, Mr. Angarita uses his hands-on operational and metrics driven management to affect change with sound business practices that do not lose sight of the imperative role that community-based organizations serve.

Jaime serves as the Treasurer and Executive Board Member of the Hispanic National Bar Association and the Finance Committee Member of the Sonia & Cecilia Sotomayor Judicial Internship Program. At the Child Center of NY, Jaime oversees the operations in the Behavioral Health, Early Childhood Education, Child Abuse Prevention, Health Homes and Integrative Care, as well as agency wide fundraising efforts and liaison to the board. Jaime lives in Brooklyn, New York with his wife, Sarah.
