Ken Ebie is the Founder and Principal of Ebie Strategies LLC. With over a decade of experience in law, politics, government, and public affairs, Ken has established a track record of success in building innovative and social impact campaigns at the highest levels of politics, entertainment, and philanthropy.
Ken recently served as a Director in the New York office of The Raben Group, a national strategic communications and public affairs firm. Previously, Ken served in New York City government as Deputy General Counsel and Director of External Affairs at the New York City Mayor’s Office of Media and Entertainment (MOME), directing legislative affairs and establishing strategic partnerships. In this role, he launched various citywide initiatives to expand access to cultural programming and career opportunities and to promote corporate social responsibility in New York City's media and entertainment industry.
Ken has also previously served as Special Counsel at the NYC Department of Consumer Affairs. In 2013, he served as campaign manager and legal counsel for the late Brooklyn District Attorney Ken Thompson, providing policy and strategic advice that led to an historic victory over a 23-year incumbent.
Ken has been recognized by Brooklyn Magazine as one of its “100 Most Influential People in Brooklyn Culture” and by the Council of Urban Professionals as a “CUP Catalyst.” A graduate of Harvard College and Yale Law School, Ken currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Council of Urban Professionals, the Harvard Black Alumni Society and the Yale Law School Alumni Executive Committee and is a founding member of Beyond #MeToo: A Working Group on Corporate Governance, Compliance and Risk.
