Leslie Swain

Leslie Swain is Corporate Counsel in the MetLife U.S. Insurance Law division advising and providing support to the business primarily with respect to data privacy regulations and security breach issues, and individual and group insurance product matters. She has also worked to ensure compliance within the annuity and life insurance regulatory landscape. Leslie transitioned from the MetLife Group Disability Office of Privacy and Compliance. Prior to that, she worked on commercial insurance coverage disputes at AIG, and was in private practice litigating insurance defense matters.

Leslie is a member and former Director of the Association of Black Women Attorneys. She has participated in the Practicing Attorneys for Law Students (PALS) program as a bar exam mentor to mentees of color. She currently serves as Co-Chair of the MetLife Professional Association Liaisons Subcommittee, which is dedicated to promoting diversity by supporting diverse bar associations and coordinating the annual MetLife Diversity Roundtable Discussion. Leslie is a graduate of St. John’s University School of Law and received her undergraduate degree from Morgan State University.
