CUP is excited to announce the launch of the Fall 2012 Executive Leadership Program (CUP ELP) for financial services professionals and lawyers. The program will kick off on Monday, October 22. CUP ELP is CUP’s signature initiative aimed at developing the pipeline of senior professionals of color and women.
The CUP Executive Leadership Program platform includes a mix of leadership workshops, coaching sessions, and learning series aimed at equipping professionals with the skills needed to advance to the executive ranks of their organizations. These offerings are delivered by CUP through leading academics, prominent thought leaders, industry experts and seasoned trainers. CUP ELP not only provides participants with leadership training, the program also provides access to key stakeholders and a support network of peers and senior business leaders across industries.
The high-touch workshops are two to four hours in length and include the following topics:
- Assessing Your Leadership Style
- The Art of Performance Management
- Executive Presence & Communication
- Negotiation & Influence Strategies
- Client Relationship Management & Presentations
CUP ELP is an aspirational program designed for a class of 25 participants (max), nominated by their firms and identified as the next generation of senior leadership. The curriculum comprises a structured series of workshops and coaching sessions over a two month period. In addition to the skills-based training, program participants receive a CUP Executive Level Membership (valued at $1,000). Other program participant perks include:

- Training and coaching from leading academics, business leaders and industry experts
- Ongoing support network of CUP ELP alumni
The Leadership Institute is currently accepting nominations for the CUP ELP. All nominations must be submitted by Wednesday, October 10.
